Abstract: A description is given of the development by collaborative
study of a standardised method for the determination of cadmium in crude
and refined oils and fats by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry.
The procedure is rapid and sensitive allowing determination at levels
of 1 to 10 �g/kg.
