To the teacher

In DIDAC 5 Agfa Gevaert NV is again publishing a bundle of educational transparencies with the aim of offering chemistry teachers useful teaching material.

DIDAC5 follows the same lines as the previous DIDAC series 1, 2, 3 and 4. Every effort has been made to keep the chemical message central and to allow it become apparent through the medium of the projected transparency.

This series contains 2 sections:
-> Separation techniques
-> Chemistry and health

Once again the illustrations are language independent. As far as possible IUPAC symbols have been used throughout the illustrations and the text.

The editorial team of Agfa Gevaert NV has again been strengthened and supported in the production of this DIDAC bundle by professors associated with university education departments and by teaching colleagues.
Our special thanks go to the external "main characters" who have been responsible for the creation of DIDAC 5.
