Objective:
Definitions of terms related to speciation of trace elements, more particularly
speciation analysis and species in chemistry. Publication in the Analyst
and in PAC is anticipated to ensure adequate dissemination.

A final version of the report was prepared during an extra ordinary
meeting with Commissions VII.C.2 and VI.1 in Brussels, in May 2000.
The report has been submitted to The Analyst for publication
and published also in PAC : IUPAC
Recommendations 2000, Pure Appl. Chem., 72(8), pp. 1453-1470,
2000.
