Project

Physical Chemistry Division (I)

COMMISSION ON ELECTROCHEMISTRY (I.3)

Number: 130/31/93

Title: Part II - Cells with Semiconductor Electrodes and Liquid Solutions
Series: Impedance of Electrochemical Systems: Terminology, Nomenclature and Representation

Coordinator(s): M. Sluyters-Rehbach and Van Maeckelberg

Completion Date: 1997 - Project Abandoned

Objective:
Part I of this series covered the measurement of impedance of metallic electrode systems; it is completed and published in Pure Appl. Chem. 66, 1831-1891 (1994). This project will extend the discussion to semi-conductors. Experience with the first project has shown that there is considerable interest in the scientific community to development of consistent symbols and terminology.

Progress:
Because this project will build on the previously PAC-published work, it should be realistic to consider completion of at least a first draft by 1997.
Project Abandoned
